Wow, Post #1231. Here's to more activities!
Yoga Movement ^
my current place, thanks to dylan the kid for introducing me.
YM is hands down the most affordable yoga studio in singapore.
the studios are cosy and welcoming. the instructors and staff are super friendly too.
the slight downside is that the practices are limited — no wheels and ropes and stuff (yet) —
but that only means the focus on foundation and practice is guaranteed. i like it better this way too.
their website is really simple and organized — everything is there. real cool.
the added bonus of having various studios along the purple line and a new east coast studio sure adds to their real estate collection.
The Yoga Collective ^
a popular yoga studio, because it was founded by sandra riley tang of the sam willows.
the thing that attracted me the most was the wide range of instructors and classes;
particularly this one called XXL sessions, which I am dying to try (though Im not sure if Im quite cut as an XXL body as of late).
the instructors and staff definitely seem extremely diverse, as seen on their website (which looks fantastic to boot!)
so Im definitely gonna try them out soon. the studios are in bugis and east coast — not bad at all.
Masters' Yoga Sadhan ^
a rather off the radar yoga studio but one that I am quite interested and itching to try.
primarily because, as the website states, this boutique studio houses yoga masters straight from india.
a little research saw some past events which included a healing session conducted by a spiritual icon hailed from India herself.
this looks promising, and Im kinda stoked to begin soon, although their studio is in tanjong pagar.
Bikram Yoga ^
bikram yoga is specifically catered for those who wanna practice hot yoga —
and im one hot person itching to try. so this is a definite must go —
their 10-day intro pass should be more than enough for me to gauge should i really want to practice further.
i would also like to justify whether their 20-class price is quite the number and meets my expectations;
and im someone thats quite easy to please. well, I would like to believe so.
bikram yoga's in harbourfront, so that is a wonderful thing.
Yoga Inc ^
this particular studio (at least, the website) kinda sends me a vibe thats really off-putting.
im not very excited to want to go try this but I shall force myself to for the sake of experience.
the class prices are on the average side so I have nothing to comment on.
really, i am not that pumped for to drop by this studio but again, i really should.
just because.
And also, my main homegirls are keen on the idea of going for a session at the trampoline parks because fun and workout is always a great, welcoming thing. im only looking at accessible places from my end of the west, so here are the lists of their standard prices.
AMPed Trampoline Park ^
singapore's go-to trampoline park.
it's the most affordable and, for us, the most accessible;
since it's directly beside our alma mater, JVS.
i've been here once, so it'll be a nice place to return to lolol
Zoom Singapore ^
this is a trampoline park in the westcoast/teban side, introduced to me by froggy.
we never got around to coming here because froggy, me, claudia, lucas just never got around to making time.
the website and pictures makes it look really fun. it would be nice to just drop by at least once.
the location and prices arent that bad either. (:
Bounce Inc. ^
ahh, the latest trampoline baby in singapore located at cineleisure.
from the photos, videos and hype, the place does look happening.
i really do wanna go, but the price and the location makes me a feel a little hesitant.
then again, like i always say, we should always try and at least do it once.
you will never have to regret anything for doing something once — experience kids, experience. :3

FMC my ass
youre broke but you previously asked to go to JB or Batam. i know you have loans to settle but money can always find.
basically, if you want it, you'll definitely find means to get it.
im tired of always being put second or last by my own girls. i feel like im the only one thats struggling to stay apiece in FMC. i have never complained of playing support to any of you. but the treatment i get from my own girls, self-proclaim always-be-there-for-you notions...
im still bitter about ly's instagram tag of FMC at full force to send fnad to her middleeast trip middle of last year without me. i just feel that it kinda shows how 'important' i am in my own clique.
i cherish FMC so much but it's so broken. amni disappears. syaf and fnad are restricted. syai's too popular a sergeant to find time, aji and kam, and ly, care too much about BCube, ly is full of herself.
ive been there fr them.. i'll always be there for them. but im tired of constantly trying to fit into a circle thats never there anymore.
im petty and stupid and sensitive over small things because i never got it from FMC. never got the VIP treatment the way we'd do fr the other girls. when i point things out, they'd briefly talk behind my back.. because ly seems to have a definite hold of FMC and no one can defy her. so they'll let her talk about her work, about her life, her problems, her BCube (excuse you, you had been such an anti-BCube advocate but theyre your favourite bunch now, eh?) and i cant even talk about my issues? no one seems to care about my problems, so i shut up. about school, about anything.
this is pent-up rage and disappointment im spewing so early in the morning just after i wake up i hate how FMC makes me feel now
/to be continued

edit//
the last time I spoke to Kiyo was my last consultation with him, the end of the first week of March. sadly, it wasnt a meet up at his place, nor at my favourite spot. it was over the phone. I had bravely told him that Im no longer coming around because a new phase had begun. he knew what was up and said he was glad things are looking up for me. Kiyo asked me what will happen to ezen and the rest, will I ever stop coming around? I said my visits wont stop, because I still need an output. coming over to enjoy his green tea remedy and spending time with the rest of the group had helped me a lot. i owe them, and i owe Kiyo, quite a bit. he talked a bit more while I was still on the bus, and when it was time to say goodbye, he reminded me that I was a beautiful, strong lady. he wants me to know that, and presses again on how amazing I am as a friend and mentor to the rest. Kiyo urged me to not give up, and that no matter how tough the going will get for me, I should never look back.
I asked if he meant anything more by saying that. Kiyo is as good an uncle as he is an older brother to me. a much older, older brother. he will not stand to see me be down. at the same time, he is but a consultant. my psychotherapist. what he has done for me has been too great a deal and a favour for me to return in a short period. so when he said he loved me, he asked if I understood what he meant. of course I do, he has taken care of me for the past few months. easily, he was almost my foster father. and as a parental figure, hes aware that time will come when he needs to let his kids go. my time was due soon, but at that time it felt too soon. he was worried, clearly, but I was eager to hold onto someone's else's hand — Pang's hand. i said i loved him too, but I loved his green tea remedy more. he laughed, though I think it was more of a pained chuckle.
the agreement was to not contact him nor ezen or the rest anymore unless the need arises again. that need came yesterday, but I only called Kiyo. I wasnt upset when he didnt answer my call. it was a sign, an episode for me to rethink my decisions. i went to pray, and I prayed hard. my heart was better despite the whirlwind that was muted for a bit in my mind.
Kiyo called me back this morning. he sounded fresh. I asked him how he was, and heard him smile. just one month, a little more than one month of my last contact with my therapist and he already knows. when Kiyo keeps things brief, you know its a good sign. all he said was 'well done', and asked if I still needed him. "for now, nope. it's all right for now," and i felt him nod with that. "shall I have you write me letters?" I would love to, but I dont know if its necessary.
then again, its Kiyo Im talking to. so I should.
the catch is, I dont need to deliver the letters to him. at all.
I should keep them, and read them whenever I feel like. sometimes, there are no reasons as to why Kiyo makes me do things.. or why I do them myself. but I trust that theres reason in everything, even its not known at the moment. eventually, slowly. theres a place in everything, and I shall keep to it. if anyone reads my mind the best, or if theres anyone that can get to my mind the closest.. it's Kiyo. and because he is such, we come back to letting me be on my own, to let me be and grow with Pang.
